Welcome to Pixel Wars

Hello and welcome to Pixel Wars, a game where you can compete and share with others one pixel at a time. My wife and I created Pixel Wars, inspired by r/place from Reddit, and we hope to gain worldwide adoption with this interactive, free-to-play game. We built this game to bring a lot of the features that we would have liked to see, to make it more enjoyable and fun to play overall.

We kept it simple, but with a twist to it. You can create your team of 10 players, and within there you can use team chat if anyone wants to chat. We've created a follow/friends list as well, to have a social aspect to it. There are multiple colors, and specials/animated colors as well, with paid features. There are badges to earn and achievements to unlock for Season 1.

Each season runs for 3 months, and afterwards there is a whiteout 1 hour before the season ends to start the next one. There is a store to purchase extra perks and features, but you can play completely free with the game's built-in pixel generator and daily rewards. We didn't want to make this game pay-to-play, since we want everyone to enjoy and create art with others on the canvas.

There are bombs and nukes as well to compete with others if you'd like to go that route. And finally, we created a safe zone right in the middle where you can't use any weapons, but the pixel can still be overwritten — this way artists can use their imagination without it being blown up :P
